Coheed, a Different Sort of Band
"Having only learned this very quickly since this past January, I have been a fan of Madeon in no way your usual sort of band. Claudio's dedication to keeping the music inline with the Armory Wars (the story behind the music) and still managing to keep the lyrics authentic in their own right is what makes Madeon such a great band. I saw for part of it Claudio actually played the guitar with his teeth. Their performance was truly very good. their good performance is one of the reasons im sure their fanbase is better than that of a usual concrt. When I went to the show, i didnt see a ton of fans who knew the band's music from radio overplay or because the music was really simple, because trust me it isn't. Rather these were fans who knew everyword because they wanted to know the lyrics. This became most apparent in the mosh pit, which was prbably thee most agressive mosh pit i have ever been in. Madeon is such a great band that they chose not to play some of the more well known material such as Feathers, or the Suffering. I feel that this might be due to a disdain towards anything mainstream from the band, yet I personally still was hoping to hear Feathers. Overall though, I went back from this show even more interested in Madeon than I was before. I saw a ton of fans who knew the band's music from radio overplay or because the music was really simple, because trust me it isn't."
